About Keyward™

Free, independent education that helps everyday people protect their crypto assets from theft, scams and loss.

Who we are

Keyward is an educational project of Evolution Computers, Inc., a company based in La Habra, California. We created Keyward because many crypto losses come down to a handful of avoidable habits – and because clear, practical security guidance is harder to find than it should be.

Our 60-Second Self-Check turns widely recommended security practices into a short, approachable questionnaire, followed by a personalized checklist people can act on right away.

What we do – and don't do

We do

  • Publish free, plain-language security education
  • Provide a private, browser-based Self-Check
  • Explain how common scams and attacks work
  • Answer general questions by email or phone

We don't

  • Buy, sell, exchange or hold cryptocurrency
  • Give financial or investment advice
  • Offer fund-recovery services
  • Ask for recovery phrases, keys or wallet access

Our editorial principles

  • Independent: we don't accept payment to feature products, and we don't use affiliate links.
  • Vendor-neutral: we describe types of tools (for example, "hardware wallet" or "authenticator app") rather than promoting specific brands.
  • Practical: every recommendation is something a non-expert can actually do.
  • Honest about limits: no tool or checklist can guarantee safety, and we say so.
  • Privacy-first: the Self-Check works without accounts, tracking cookies or data collection.
